What happen?
I almost had to use them for a while o.o

I was in a biking accident. I took a sharp left turn at high speed, going downhill, and veered completely off the path. Trying to get back on the path, which was about 3 inches above grass, my tire jammed and I flew facefirst into cement.

I skinned raw my left knee, have road burn/rash on my lower right leg, hip bone area, 2 deep gashes in my right elbow, as well as a damaged artery, which at the time was oozing blood, which partly accounted for the swelling. Now my whole right leg is swollen, and I may need surgery because the mass is pressing slightly on my artery, restricting circulation a bit. My entire leg is swollen.

The doctor said the trauma sustained in that bike accident was like some of the trauma he'd seen from minor car wrecks.
