Wow, so many talented people here! I'm jealous and in awe. Here is some of my artwork, they aren't drawings, but wood burnings of my beloved pets and a random owl.

I use a tool similar to this one--> I have a lot of tree limbs from pruning, and I recently chopped down a cherry and bambinella, which I'm drying. If I'm feeling lazy, I print out a picture, use a pencil to shade the back of the image, place the image onto a piece of wood, and trace/imprint the design onto the wood. If I want to be more risky, I burn the wood without a template. (Does that make sense? I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself well enough.) For my cats, I used diluted acrylic paint to add color. I added a clear satin finish for protection, after I was done.
I'm not really happy with how my cat's one turned out. There was still a lot of moisture in the wood, which caused it to crack and it also contained a lot of sap, which discolored it slightly. Also there is a knot on Jimmy (my yellow cat). My pets are on pine wood. The owl is on a cedar plank.
Yes, that makes sense. I Think the cats are adorable! That rose in the background in the picture above is lovely.
Vary neat, I had always assumed people used stamps, but that is much cooler.
