Yes, my friend has some and I love the color of the eggs. They are also very friendly. I plan to cross them with my Cream Legbars to produce Olive eggers. I've ordered 20 extra for warmth so if anyone in the Bay area wants some Welsummer pullets I'm selling them at cost (6 dollars each). They will have Meraks vaccine.

Hi everyone. I'm new to BYC and raising chicks. I've read online that pine straw is the best bedding. Does anyone know where to find it in the east bay?

Hi! We are moving from Oakland to Fremont where we'll have space for chickens. I saw a couple places online that said Fremont allows up to two chickens without a permit-- can anyone confirm that? The municipal code doesn't include that detail. Thank you!
