I agree if you ask a few questions - people generally respond only to the first.
In the New Member section it seems a lot of responders don't even read the questions, say welcome and move on. The new member is left dangling. I try to provide some response to all. If I can't solve their problem, I will suggest where they might find an answer. Sometimes a newbie will be desperate for assistance with a new chick or very ill favorite hen and the only answers they get are in essence "have a nice day." This upsets me very much.
