3. Do you prefer your pattern to be for knit or crochet or something other? What is your skill level for this technique? Crochet, intermediate to advanced

4. Any stitches or techniques you are interested in learning or experimenting with? I’m game for anything

5. Your favorite colors? Your least favorite color? Do you prefer variegated yarn or solid color? Fav is anything blue, but I like any colors except orange and lime green.

6. Preferred yarn type(s)? (Ex: wool, cotton, bamboo, acrylic, mixed fibers) I’ve only worked with acrylic and cotton, and would love to try something different.

7. Do you spin? No, but I have my 3g-gm’s spinning wheel sitting in my dining room!

8. Any yarn or other allergies? No allergies, but can’t stand the smell of cigar/cigarette smoke.

9. Any cats or other common allergens INSIDE your home? One spoiled rotten cat!

10. Give a brief summary of yourself. Likes/dislikes, etc. I’ve been married for nearly 30 years, with two sons & one daughter-in-law (looking for a gf for my 23yo!

). From where we live, we can be in the mountains in an hour or at the beach in about 4 hours. I enjoy crafting of all kinds, but my favorites are crochet & jewelry making. I love to read, sci-fi/fantasy especially. We don’t have chickens, and I wouldn’t know where to start with them. I work full-time, but was a SAHM when my kids were small. I’m active in my church and our women’s state-wide organization. I enjoy country (NOT Bluegrass) & contemporary Christian (NOT Southern Gospel) music. Love sweet, red wine and Cosmopolitans (not together, though!) I really enjoy cooking, but I wish someone would come clean up for me afterward.

Ok. Slowly but surely I'm getting caught up with posts and swap info, etc!!!

I have updated the list of swappers on the first post here and noted what information (if any) I still need from some of you.

This is absolutely fine! I know there are many, many children now crocheting and knitting. This would be great fun for them, as well. Of course, please be sure to help out, if need be, on the handmade items that are included.

yeah too many to list but I like the pattern to look good so I would rather have simple YO, SSK, K2tog, PSSO and basic K and P... nothing else too crazy I wanna enjoy the knitting not wanna kill the sender!!!

5. Your favorite colors? Salmonish pink, greens & blues

Your least favorite color?
black and baby pink baby blue

Do you prefer variegated yarn or solid color?
Varigated yarns make me think of vomit.... solid please!!

6. Preferred yarn type(s)?
I prefer animal fibers wool, alpaca, and my favorite right now is angora but that is a bit pricey so dont feel obligated!!!
7. Do you spin?
nope but not opposed to learning it!!! then I would HAVE to get a sheep!!!

8. Any yarn or other allergies?
I am alergic to everything but I dont care... I love all things soft!!!

9. Any cats or other common allergens INSIDE your home?
yup I got 1 cat and 4 dogs. and 7 chickens and 30 buttons and 12 coturnix (birds not in house!!!)

I like to be delightfully suprised, I like my chickens and quail and dogs and cat I LOVE alaska. I like coffee.being different from everyone else. I like to fit in when appropriate!!! I love lost the tv show and sci-fi.I watch movies allot....
I dislike stoopid drivers in alaska!!! I hate people who dont have insuranse on thier cars yet drive them anyway!!!! and getting in trouble for others stupid mistakes.... and having to shut up and let it slide off my back to smooth over a situation and move on!


ok well now that I have vented....... who am I sending my ball too? I want to go to the PO friday!!!
