Rebecca, I'm so glad you like it! I had a blast putting this together for you. I've got a little tray like that - it's for soy sauce w/ sushi - on my night stand & it's where I keep my earplugs. I walked around for weeks thinking about usefull little things that would fit into the ball & would be fun.

I forgot, however, to tell you what the knitted thing is - it's a coffee cup sleeve to keep your Alaskan coffee hot! I made a whole bunch for girlfriends at Christmas time and decided to make a longer one for you. Long underwear for your java!

Oh, and I got the yarn (link is for care instructions) at the Madrona Yarn & Fiber Fair, an annual yarn market that's in my city each January. Stephanie Pearl-McPhee - http://www.yarnharlot.ca/blog/ - was there. I didn't see her but I did learn the knitter's handshake: walk up to someone wearing a handmade item and feel them up before you introduce yourself face-to-face!

I got the patterns off ravelry.com. I think that the flapper hat might be for a baby (I liked it, too!). I didn't realize it until later. Maybe you could alter the pattern to fit an adult?

I am sure I coudl mod it for my DD she is 8. She asked me what the fuzzy thing was I sais I dont know but I think its a coffee sleeve. she said NOPE MOM

its a wrist warmer... I asked her why would any one send me 1 wrist warmer... she said it must have gotten forgotten...

funny thing is I made her wrist warmers for when she is typing at school that look VERY simmilar to that cozy. so everything that looks like that she thinks is a wrist warmer!!!

I will try to get that pic uop here!

I have recieved my MYB yesterday and wouldn't you know it wasn't able to unwind it, lol. I had to get to work!! Thank you lutheranchick! I love how the ribbon is wrapped around it. I will have pictures tonight for everyone. I hope I can get them loaded ok.
Also, I will have my partners package mailed out tomorrow. Sry for the delay and I had previously let her know. This has been basically a bad month, but I sure hope my partner is very forgiving and understanding. Now back to my package and working on pictures for everyone! Another thank you to follow lutheranchick, lol. (((HUGS)))

Amyquilt,

A couple of us want you to enjoy the fun, too! A couple of us are compiling things to make a MBY for you. Would you please send me your mailing address?

Anyone who wants to include something in Amy's MBY as a thank you to her for organizing this swap, send me a PM! I plan to get Amy's MBY in the mail on 3/28, so I need all items by 3/27.

jenn.

Jenn already knows that I'm in! Amy, we really appreciate you getting this swap together, and it's just not fair that you might not get to play too!
