Great interview....great stories.
The pet rooster when you were so young.
The broody in the truck, how did he miss that for 3 weeks!!??!!
She must have been very quiet during the rides back and forth for work and during lunches!

I would make a joke about DH not being very observant... but I rode in his truck at least three times while she was in there, and I never heard a sound either

17 year old leopard gecko.

Wow, 17 years old! I have a leopard gecko named Luna, and she is 6 years old.

Her name is Chop Suey. My daughter's boyfriend hatched her, and gave her to me when she was just a few days old. DD didn't have the boyfriend nearly as long as I've had the lizard.

So very nice to meet you officially Chrissy. A 100 leghorns? That must of been quite the flock.

A sea of tiny yellow chicks... you'd be amazed at how loud they were.
I kept them in our screened back porch while I repaired the chicken coop. By the time they were a year old I had about 85 left. I thought that was pretty good considering I was a completely clueless kid But it taught me a lot about what NOT to do... like don't trust chicken wire for anything.
And M&Ms are in fact NOT a good treat for chickens... even if they have peanuts in them
