BYC Member Interview - Grammy60

I enjoyed your stories and getting to know you a little bit. Thank you for writing! Life can be such a mixed bag of experiences, ones to enjoy and ones to endure. You have had plenty of both, and have thrived through it all. That is what I think maybe your daughter means when she wants you to write the stories down, because that comes through in your writing in an inspirational way. So thanks!
Thank you for another perspective on why I should write things down, she has told me that I could right a book if I wanted to. Yes, you never know what life has in store for you, so be ready for anything. I have started writing before, but .didn't get far.

Again, Thank you for taking the time to read.

Wonderful interview Sue! Happy to learn a little more about you...now I understand where your strength and determination has it's foundation. :love
I find a familiar humor in your stories, and a love for 'simpler things' that make life worth living.

Loved your collection of elephants. They have a strong relationship to family members and I can see why you choose to collect them....I collect marine mammal and sea turtle figurines, whales, porpoises, manatees, green sea turtle....really anything connected to marine life....much for the same reasons.

Again, thank you for sharing your journeys.
PS - try to keep Bob out of 'his mischief ways'!
Thank you so much for taking time to read my story, because we all know it's not over yet 😏. I've been collecting elephants since I was in my teens. I really like turtles as well, but elephants have my heart 💞💞

I would love to keep him out of his mischief ways, but I lost that battle a LONG time ago.

It was so good to see you here, I miss greeting you and chatting with you throughout the day 😉💗

@Grammy60 thank you so much for sharing some of your life story - it sounds like a tough start, and I can only imagine what you experienced growing up, but you have emerged strong and loved and now finally settled with a wonderful family.
I really appreciate the opportunity to get to know you and Bob here on BYC and I had to laugh at the out house - it suddenly reminded me how much I hated using the out house at my grandmother’s house!
Happy Saturday (I had to check I got that right) and thank you for being a BYC friend.
Thank you RC for reading my story, so far. It had it's challenges and it certainly still does 😒. I would love to think I'm learning and growing from my experiences, and yes I have family spread out that I see occasionally.

I am enjoying getting to know the friends I have on here. The outhouse was definitely an experience one never forgets 😂. BYC is definitely helping my being stuck at home scenario.

It's very nice to officially meet you @Grammy60 . I loved all your wonderful photos. Your life has been quite the adventure. :) You are a tough woman.

I now know who that puppy is in your avatar. Prancer was a gorgeous girl.
Thank you so much 💗i love taking pictures and I don't really have many from my growing up years, so I have been known to go crazy with my camera.

I guess it's either be tough or get walked on and I have enough of that. Prancer was my replacement for Bumpy, my dog I had to leave behind when my mom passed away and we were taken by relatives with not many belongings. I never found out what happened to Bumpy 😭. Once I get it reformatted, I'll post the picture 💖.
