Thanks for sharing, that is very cool!

I've never seen blue jays down here but if they're spreading to SA area, maybe some will eventually wander further south... LoL, more screaming birds in my yard!

They are definitely screamers. And swoopers. My cats hate them.
I'm going to keep an eye out for the green hybrids.

This year I've realized how loud and chirpy hummingbirds are. I'm used to seeing, and hearing, one or two at a time. We've had dozens at once this year.

This year I've realized how loud and chirpy hummingbirds are. I'm used to seeing, and hearing, one or two at a time. We've had dozens at once this year.

We had just a few hummingbirds but suddenly got slammed with them couple of days ago, nothing like an incoming front to drive them down here. Making sugar water like crazy to satisfy the noisy buggers!

And.... I've had several orioles that are coming to the feeders too. Fortunately they're not aggressive to the hummingbirds.
