I am new to raising chickens in the backyard.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
none
(3) What breeds do you have?
none
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
fresh eggs and fresh meat; getting rid of kitchen waste, fish guts and butchering leftovers ...
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, keeping sheep (not any more :( since we moved to our new place I had to get rid of my sheep)
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I once was a pastor and shepherd, now I am only a pastor. I like to train my dog and spent a lot of time outdoors.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
through an internet search for chicken tractors.
