Actually she was chasing my hens. I went out to have a better look on what was going on. The young cat was a new visitor in my garden. I followed her until she escaped behind the fence made with cattle panels and climbing plants. We share this fence with our neighbours on one side.
I don’t know were she came from and never saw her again. She must have thought I’m too creepy to risk another encounter.

Or she is an indoor cat and escaped.

My cat decided to come and visit the chooks today - she never comes near them! Last time was 4 yrs ago and she was attacked by the silkie Roo! That was just too much for poor Missy!

I never saw a cat kill a chicken. And most cat don’t chase them.
