People just go away from it all

Can I join? I love poetry but cant write it worth a crud! but here is a shot at it....
ps... Marty I told you I was in a fit today, but I always find my way!

HIS Way........

I tried to be nice
and more than twice!

I feel like a stool
and that aint cool!

so I quit being kind
and walked out of line

got into big trouble
but crawled out of the rubble

dusted myself off
and gave a good scoff

went back to the line
and confessed my crime.

now I am smiling and no more crying

because I know inside
with Whom I reside ​

WOW you guys are amazing! I am horrible I never understood how to write it, but enjoy getting the meanings out of them!
I loved when we worked on this stuff way way wayyyy back in English clases. I would love to lurk and read when y'all write if thats ok too? or do I have to write?

There once was a boy with a bird,
Whos rooster was quite a big nerd,
He jumped and he flew
and landed in stew

This is a poem a wrote two years ago.....

I want to be by a shining sea with only me and the glittering sea.
The night begins with its gloomy spins,
The moonlight shows with its pretty glows,
The sky gets dark with a great remark.
Until the dawn overcomes the dark,
The dark flashes away, and the sun
Lights up the trees with a middle breeze,
And joy and happiness come,
That’s where I want to be.......
