My daughters have picked out some horse printed material and some different solids to go with it. They have asked me to fix them a quilt for their room. I need some ideas for the pattern that would suit the print. I would love to have someone with a long arm machine to quilt it, but I can't afford that right now.

Any ideas, I am open to them all. Your help will be appreciated.

You can fussy cut 6 1/2 inch squares out of the horse fabric. Take a 6 inch square ruler (or whatever size) and cut out horse faces (depending on the fabric) and then use the accent fabrics and cut 2 and a half inch strips and border the main square log cabin or courthouse steps style and build the square until it is the size you want.
