#3 Shaggy Mane mushrooms - they grow on woody debris like old stumps underground, and pop up when the leaves start falling off of the trees. Edible.

Hi Isadora,
We used to have a lot of old order Amish but the moved en masse when the newer orders (with their different ways) moved in, to avoid intermingling.

Toadstool, they were used to diminish flies, you soaked them cut up in milk, and when flies would drink it, they would drop dead

They make people dead too

Autumn is my favorite time of year. Summer heat has passed and the air is crisp. Harvests are in and it's time to relax before winter comes with its icy fingers scratching at the doors and windows.
