Is there a yearly backyard chicken meeting? If not there SHOULD be! I was just telling my husband yesterday how fun it would be to meet all of you and have you all in the same place Any thoughts on where it could be and what we would do for fun?

I was co-organizer of a Backyard Chicken Meetup Group with over 700members. We had regular meetings from coop tours to poultry book coffee clutches. We even held classes on everything from growing fodder to chicken clicker training. You can do the same in Washington with Meetup, Facebook or Yahoo groups.

I HATE TIME ZONES!

Try living somewhere like Kazakhstan with 7 of them or Russia with 9.
