I had some major issues with my Incubator not heating up correctly if I take it out of the foam box like I did on my previous hatch, so I had to put the Styrofoam back on it. It's still settling in abd heating up, so Im gonna wait till later to open it and see. I wish the incubator would display what time they're going to turn the eggs.

If it has a manual button you could press it on the hour, 12p, 1p, then it should run every two hours after that. Some rotate constantly so marking the rods, eggs etc helps to be able to tell when/if they rotated.

Very helpful! Thank you. I don't think mine has a manual button but you reminded me that I can adjust how often it turns, and that could help. I'll look at the user manual.

Wow, I'm sorry! Were they just never fertile or was it incubator issues?

Power outage . They seemed fine when I candled all the way up to lockdown, then I had a two hour power outage.

I'm trying again with hers to see what happens.

I forgot to remove that attachment. The incubator was at that temp for 12 hours straight. I was so worried until I put the Styrofoam. I guess buying a cheap incubator isn't the best decision

It might be something like press and hold the UP arrow for 3 seconds, it should say in the manual.

Good luck this time! Since they're fertile I think they will definitely hatch this time.

They sell incubators with both batteries and power plug things for power outages. Those might help if you get power outages a lot.

That's what the one with the rods has, but it caused the eggs to bunch up to one end

How did you end up keeping humidity stable in your incubator? Are you going with the dry hatch?

Yup. I had trouble with stable humidity in traditional hatches, so I'm giving dry hatching a whirl.
