They're loud and expensive. If I get a generator it'll be to set up fans, misters and heaters for the chickens. Then hopefully my ten 'broody breeds' (5 BOs, 5 Cochin Bantams) will do the work for me, lol.

It would make sense to do that because if the power goes I'll be hanging out with the chickens for entertainment anyway.

What my dad and son will do . . .go stay with friends that have power.

Anytime I turn on a light the chickens start complaining, lol
