I wanted to see the eggs we're doing. I completely forgot about the little candling light on top of the incubator. It's not great and can't even see through the buff orpington eggs, but the silkie and SS eggs can still be very easily candled with that. 4 and 6 look amazing. Tons of veins and a moving embryo inside.
Egg 4 candled with this headlight thing.
This was before I realized I can use the incubator light. But this light is brighter so it's whatever. I can already see what I think are eyes and it's moving around.
Egg 6: on camera it's hard to see, but also doing awesome so far. Both are speckled Sussex eggs.
Egg 19 is a silkie egg and doesn't look fertile. I can see an air cell and a very clear yolk so I'll leave it in there just to see.
Mendy, egg 2. I see what looks like a tiny bit of blood where it's dented. I can't see veins and embryo very clearly since my candling light is bad. I can however see a darker part of the egg as well as an air cell. I will be amazed if she survived.
