I cracked Pot's eggs and they all looked like this . . . not a single blastoderm (ring). I'm not even seeing the dot that shows she fertile. This is so odd, because her last batch of eggs made it up to lockdown. I assumed they quit when the power went out for a couple of hours. . . but maybe not.

I went ahead and candled the 3 questionable bantam eggs and I only see veining in one of those. The other two look clear:

I put a dot on the one that looks like it made a bit of progress and placed it in the incubator with the other 5 bantam eggs. 6 possible bantam chicks.

Well, 11 more eggs to candle . . might as well, lol.

I second these questions!! I’m like wait how many eggs did we all have set?! I’m doing a horrible job of keeping track

The bantam eggs were initially in the incubator with the rollers that kept giving me problems. After a day or so I candled them and split them between the two remaining incubators.

The ones that looked good went in with Pot's eggs the questionable ones went in the incubator with the eggs I presume are from Buffy, the BO.

Day 10, 8 days until lockdown.
Out of the initial 26 eggs set, it seems I have 5, possibly 6, bantam eggs developing and 11 standards. 3 of the bantam eggs and Pot's eggs weren't fertile.

How's everyone else doing?

I think my egg 9 is infertile and both of the orpington eggs (I'm not sure but I think) aren't fertile/developing either. So there's only 2 that I'm completely sure are (or got) eliminated, 9 and 19.
