Darn I have chicks expected to hatch a few days before Halloween between the 27-29

My bantam eggs are likely to hatch a bit early, too.

Haven't been here in a few days and had to catch up on the thread. I spot candled a few of my eggs Friday afternoon, just to see if I could see anything developing. Definitely saw veins on the cracked one, but my mosaics don't appear to be developing. I'll give it a few more days before checking again.

@african chickens What breeds do you have and how many eggs did you set?

I have some due on Halloween but being bantams they may hatch early, so I added more later in hopes that if they hatch early they will fall on the day

24 and 24. Pure Pekin bantams (aka Bantam Cochins) plus my Pekin over Polish, Japanese bantam and Australian Araucana. Oh I also have a couple of Pekin/ISA brown due around the same time under a broody hen
