Yeah really! I hope my first hatch is that successful!

One more hatched while I slept, total of 6 hatched, 5 still unhatched. Once I get the chicks moved to the brooder and settled I'll candle the remaining eggs.

5 chicks of the 6 that made it to lockdown hatched. Waiting on one more egg. I woke up to this chick hatched day 22.

I saw movement in 1 of the remaining eggs and another has a pip hole. I couldn't make out any movement or sounds from the rest, but the chicks in the brooder are pretty loud so I might have just missed it.

There are 6, I swear! One just blends in with the rug, lol.

Yup and all three of his previous black and white chicks (Cookie, Biscuit and Biscotti) turned out to be male.
