Would it be a terrible idea to take the chicks out 1-2 at a time in 51f weather to take some fall pics?

It might be better to bring some 'fall' inside . . . dried leaves etc

Mine are in a 70F house and stay under the brooder plate most of the time.

I am loving seeing everyone’s little chicks! I am jealous of some of the variety!! I feel like all 19 of mine are dark and I can’t tell anyone apart . I will be putting bands on later today and will take some pics. That will help telling them apart but I have NO IDEA what mix everyone is.

Yes well I did. He was one of the two roosters. No female barred rock. I know the white spots on heads can mean males but idk how it works with all the mixed breeds.

Yeah I see like one or two feather feet and a couple with Muffs so I can kinda narrow it down but it’s going to be a surprise here.

Looks like he was a busy boy! I'm not sure about the head spot in mixes either.

I heard that a barred rock female, crossed with any non barred rooster will make BSL chicks. But since your BR is male then probably all your chicks are going to be barred in one way or another, unless they're your other Roo's.
