What breeds are your hens?

The boys are Easter egger and barred rock, my hens are black australorp, 2 Easter eggers, 2 BO, light Brahma, olive egger, sapphire sky, silver laced Wyandotte and Plymouth blue

That's actually good news, that would've been a male heavy hatch otherwise.

Had to take chicks out today to record some information. It's easiest for me to do this by rounding up all of one color.
So here's pics of most of the chicks, I say most cause if appears im missing a couple.

I have noticed this batch of 7 seems to be louder than when I had 20+. I blaming it on the fact that there are fewer to help keep eachother warm. They have brooder plate, but with just 7 only like two are in the 'center'

If they're having trouble keeping comfortably warm even while under the heat plate, are you able to lower it any further?
