A different hawk just attacked the chicks again. This one was much smaller but not very scared of me. Maybe it was the first hawk that attacked the main coop a while back before the giant red tail. I had covered the top of the cage, but not the sides and apparently the hawk still saw the chicks. I feel horrible for the chicks, their beaks and combs got all scraped up again.

. Peach already got a lot of rooster specific red feathers on his shoulders. So did one of the Brahma babies muffin/cupcake (I forgot to put a band back on Cupcake before his head spot disappeared and now I have no idea which one is Cupcake and which one is Muffin...). And the other cupcake/muffin has a massive comb. Oh well.
