It really is. People with little money give the most % to charity. My grandfather always said not to dismiss people with no formal education -- you can still learn from them, which I've found to be very true.

I worked for a cardiologist for a while. Heart attacks either made people much nicer, or much nastier. I guess it had to do with optimism or pessimism. . .
