NYCherry was my father's favorite. Our Jewel (Countryside) keeps remodeling and passing the expense on to customers. I only go there if I absolutely have too. (they are across the street kitty corner from my bank).
I don't think I've seen Baldwin ice cream but, now that I know I will check around.
Walgreen's used to have NYCherry, and Cherry Nut (another of my late father's favs)back when pints were 16 oz.
AS you can tell I take ice cream very seriously. I know I have seen Spumoni in Jewel, and bought it once when my son was here at last visit. I believe it was in the 48 oz.size.
Hope to shop Sunday = hitting a few stores while my brother fumes. He is passive- aggressive - he will tell me what stores have my favorites on sale, then will holler when I head for the ice cream aisle to search for them. BTW it's always crowded around the ice cream Men and Women. Good thing they don't want the kind I want, it could get very ughly.
