27? I don't think I know 27 figures of speech. I see: in a nutshell, kicking the bucket, cat's got his tongue, wears his heart on his sleeve, time flies, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he has a loose screw, spilling the beans, all his eggs in one basket, card up his sleeve, he might have tied a string around his finger, that's a red herring, and that's only 12. I have no idea why there is a bird on his head, or what is tickling his ear.

Now I'll read through and see if anyone else gave it a go.
