The "Able to work under pressure, not die for your company" really hit a chord with me.

Had a boss at an old job who said he "was looking for martyrs for the company." I wish I had stood up and said, "You better rethink that. Martyrs DIE for the cause. This company IS NOT worth dying for!"

I think it resonates with a lot of people. A couple people (teachers and principals) have told me that family comes before the job. The school will manage.
