What 3 things do YOU refuse to eat?
For me it’s:
1. Organ meats
2. Shellfish that still have eyes and appendages (must be peeled and deveined already)
3. Summer squash (unless it’s spaghetti squash or hidden in some bread product)

What's wrong summer squash?"??

Summer squash and zucchini taste and feel like what I imagine would be swallowing a serving of warm slugs.
. I guess I should add escargot too!

When I was a kid my parents wouldn’t let me leave the table until I finished all my vegetables even if it made me gag and retch. I often would sit there for hours when squash was on the menu until my Dad felt sorry for me and let me leave. Old school parenting!

Our rule was try at least one bite but don’t force them to finish it. Ironically, when MY kids were young and visiting my parents, they would be served a plate of raw, crisp, cold delicious veggies. I would then get a phone call of how great that child was at eating their vegetables . And if the kid happened to eat squash or zucchini then it was all over. My mom would just radiate smugness for days.

I found out zucchuni is best grilled and sprinkled with Tony's seasoning.
