Don't get me started on single people who have zero animals, children, or even a 9-5 and they say they don't want a pet because of the immense responsibility or how needy it might be. You have no life and no responsibility and somehow a single living being would overwhelm you😂
I'm not saying they need to have a pet, but to say you couldn't possibly have one because it needs to eat and take a dump is crazy.
I must confess I'm always a wee bit leery of people who don't have any pets at all. Like not even a few neon tetras or something. At least they should have some plants. To create an environment around you that is devoid of life is kind of weird. 🫥

Exactly. I could see myself being too busy to care for a whole dog but a cat, some bettas, and a couple snakes would be nothing in the way of needs and expense but they'd make my house a home and give me something to spoil and fuss over. At least a chia pet you psychopaths😭

For all of you worried that I might have a pet-free home, I have an entire Apple collection.

If anything a cat *sneezes* might be something I'd get.
I think your life choices are entirely your own business.

Yah, they are.

I do love having plants though. I still have the basil that isn't really any good, but it has a few leaves growing on it. I can't bring myself to plant a new one.

And the Christmas cactus that was just fine until someone pruned it :(.
