Can anyone explain how to use the spoiler button? I've been trying unsuccessfully. I wanted to share a joke, but I'm technically challenged. lol

Are you on a phone or a computer or something? Can anyone explain how to use the spoiler button? I've been trying unsuccessfully. I wanted to share a joke, but I'm technically challenged. lol
I'm on the computer. I see the symbol for it on the BYC menu, but I don't know how to use it. Everything I try doesn't work. Are you on a phone or a computer or something?
Ohhhhhh okay. That’s weird. I’m not sure thenI'm on the computer. I see the symbol for it on the BYC menu, but I don't know how to use it. Everything I try doesn't work.
I tried that and it came out looking like your example, not a hidden word. I'll have to try it again.I think you select/highlight the text you want to hide, then click the spoiler setting. It will look like weird coding stuff before you post, but it should work.
It will look like this, but with square brackets:
Why did the chicken cross the road?
(SPOILER)
cause you don’t want it to.
(/SPOILER)
Thanks @CombNWattles!That's cool...but I'm just happy to have gotten one right. The other one is the inline spoiler (the mask).
Works the same way but creates a shadow which you can click on to reveal.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
To show an armadillo it was possible.
