She ran back to the cockatiels cage as fast as she could, not wanting to miss anything that her newly found pet did. When she got back she opened the cold plastic bars of the cockatiel cage, and gently swung it open. "hey, little dragon" she called "i have some food for you."

She reached out to let the dragon get used to her hand. The dragon crept closer, sniffed it. Then it did something strange; it hopped right on to her hand, then her head, and flew straight towards the door.
And that was when Alanna heard the doorbell, and a familiar voice. It was Alannas long lost friend, Bryan.
