Anyone willing to give me some feedback on you experience with Carolina Rare Chicks?
specifically their English standard Orpinton breed?

Do you guys know? I believe they got most of Ewe Crazy's stock when they closed shop.

To my knowledge yes, Crazy Ewe Farms sold their stock to Carolina Rare Chicks in order to focus on something else.

I haven't personally gotten any birds directly from them, although I have admired the birds on the website and they seem to be of good quality. I think some of @Faraday40's birds came from Carolina Rare Chicks and Papa's Poultry so she may be able to better answer questions about the quality of the birds.

I have purchased English Orpington chicks a couple of times and older pullets once. All were healthy as young chicks and have made beautiful, healthy adult birds. Daniel is a good person and easy to deal with. The shipping may seem high but it is in line with most other suppliers that I have ordered from.

They sure do have a beautiful selection of English Orpingtons. Many in colors/varieties I have never heard of before.

I know this thread is older but I just ordered 13 English Lavender Orpingtons from them. I am truly hoping to get a few better quality birds out of this grouping!
