Here is the foundation.

The foundation is done. We used concrete to secure the j hooks and then mounted the 2x4's down on the cinder blocks. Tomorrow we will frame and paint.

Thank you! The upper side of our back yard was unused for years. Getting up there was hard, almost impossible, so it was hard to maintain. So we built some stairs. The chicken coop and planter boxes (that you can't see because they're behind the camera) are up there now.

We got the framing up and painted it with a roller. Still need to take the bracings off and then go behind with a brush and fill in where the roller wouldn't touch. Next is really leveling out the ground for the run and building in the coop. We are having so much fun!!

The roof is installed. Time to take a break for a few days... Next step, frame in the coop, cut it out, and piece it together.

We got the framing in, and the walls of the interior of the coop in, and most of the hardware cloth up today. Next up is to finish the hardware cloth, finish the interior walls of the coop, and then put the siding (exterior) on.
