CA Interstate 80/CHICKENS!!

I can't find a link to the story, but early this morning a truck jack knifed and it was loaded with chickens. It was still dark when it happened and there are still chickens out there. Men running around trying to catch what looked like maybe 3 month old birds. I just hope there weren't a lot lost, but Vacaville has traffic still backed up I guess because of the chickens.

This link is to a report that shows much more damage. The one I saw they were chasing them around, but these birds were clearly injured.

Those chickens were likely not over 6 weeks old. That's the age they are processing them around here.

WOW They had another report, but I can't find a link. There were men chasing birds and they were afraid to catch them. But the birds were running off. If I was close enough you can bet I'd be out looking for survivors about now.

They said other truckers were trying to get the guy's attention becaus he was swerving and looked like he was falling asleep.
