i got these from TSC, from hoovers i believe. straight runs labeled as CA white and Asian Black. they’re huge so i’m thinking boys but i really can’t tell. a few days shy of 8 weeks.

this picture is from more than a week ago but to show how massive the black ones feet are! even bigger than the CA white that i’m sure is a boy based on outgoing behavior. i know these are really just some random mixes that aren’t true breeds at all but if anyone else has had them let me know! very interested to see how they grow out.

CA White is a pullet. They're Leghorn crosses and thus have huge combs.

I have one and love her -- a bold, fearless, inquisitive bird who flies like a helicopter (and is the only member of the flock smart enough to fly back into the run after getting out).

She's a MACHINE for the production of perfectly consistent, 65g white eggs.

i had a leghorn x RSL as my first hen and she was the love of my life. she always sat on my shoulder, like nonstop. when she was an adult she had a lot of the black spotting AND the invisible barring showed up on her feathers so this one reminds me a lot of her.
