Cabbage!

Mine love cabbage, blueberries and grapes. They despise peppers and lettuce.
The innards of pumpkins, cucumbers, melons etc are always popular. The flesh they sometimes love and sometimes not.

Isn't it weird how flocks have their own particular preferences? Mine will eat lettuce and pretty much any green, but not carrots unless they are cooked a little first. Grapes, blueberries and cantaloupe/watermelon rinds are favorites, they like apples well enough, but they aren't as wild about strawberries. Since we had a freeze last night I added a little corn to their wet mash this morning, and I just took them a plate of sourdough discard with seeds, oats and peas mixed in. They were squabbling over it when I left.

Mine love scratch grains! It takes them a few tries to love them, but after that they gobble it up. Make sure to not give them more a handful every day because it'll "dilute" their protein.

Please note, they really shouldn't have any extras, especially heavy carb/ fat ones until after 5 weeks
