Cackel hatchery

I've had to wait for a few weeks on certain breeds. I wouldn't think they would be sold out on all of the breeds. Sometimes they will sell out for the spring , than have some closer to fall. What were you looking for?

I ordered last year from Cackle and had to wait 4 weeks for my chicks because they were sold out of the easter eggers, the other breads would have been available but I wanted all of them in the same shipment.
This year I ordered again and will have my chicks here in 2 weeks (Salmon Faverolles, Austra Whites and Buff Orpington).
I can't imagine that they would be sold out on all breeds. Sometimes it is just one or a couple of breeds that didn't lay as expected and so they have a sold out/waiting time.

I used to supply Cackle with eggs. We started selling to them in February but the temps here in Missouri have been terrible for birds to start laying. You can put lights on them to get them started but when it hits single digits or less it shuts them off fast. I would say that is why they are sold out right at this time..

I emailed my order in Monday...(the phone was always busy)I order SF,Wells,BR and buffs...asked for del. time of ASAP or the end of March...since I couldn't talk to anyone to find out out about the hatching dates............ And they emailed me today my ship date is 3/30/11 which is great with me will be warmer
