Well our BCM went broody…we don’t have a rooster….so…we put a live chick under her after she sat for awhile! She is the absolute best mama!!!! I love watching them together.
Now we have Rose, Sophia, Blanche, Dorothy and our newest addition…Sicily (sissy for short!)

How did you get just one chick?

My broody's eggs died, so I went to TSC to get her a couple chicks, but they had a minimum of 6 to purchase. Assorted bantams.

Hi guys! Long cold winter here in Michigan. I thought we were headed for spring but woke up to more snow. Our girls have started laying here and there though which is promising! I’ve been MIA but I’m back!
