Haven't been on for a while since I didn’t get any new birds last year. But this year my mom decided she really liked the cackle bantam package we got in 2023 so I put in an order for 5.
They sent me 8!
It looks like I got a
1 x creole oegb
1 x barred oegb
1 x brahma
1 x partridge cochin
2 x RIR
2 x Dominique
All arrived amazingly healthy except for one which sprang back after some tlc. So for the second time, I can’t recommend cackle batam pullet deal package enough
As another note, this hamster cage brooder has been tried and true for me. My heating system is an always on $12 heating pad wrapped in a hand towel which i suspend in a cardboard cave. The moment chicks settle under there from the shipping box, they go from needy screaming mode to happy chirp mode.
I don’t interact with my chicks a whole lot, and while they dont adore my hand they dont mind it either. I attribute this to the side opening hamster cage set up.
