Cackle Hatchery Accuracy

We have 18 chicks from Cackle. Black Australorps. They are all supposed to be pullets. I know it's too early to actually tell, but I was wondering how accurate Cackle seems to be in their chick sexing. They promise 10%. Is that about right?

Yes 10% is accurate i ordered pullets 12 got 1 roo.

Thanks. I would be ok with 1 or 2 roos. Last time we got some locally from a company - not Cackle - and 8 of 10 were roos. It's like they got the sexing backwards. Lol

Out of 11 chicks from Cackle, I had 1 roo.

On all my sexed orders from Cackle its been 100% so far. 5 black Ameraucana pullets, 5 lavender Ameraucana pullets, 5 blue Ameraucana pullets and all have been pullets. On a straight run recently of 5 Chamois Spitzhauben I got 5 pullets.

All my birds from Cackle have been accurate as well.
