Cackle Hatchery Extra Chicks

We have a box of chicks being delivered next week from Cackle Hatchery. I read a couple reviews of people receiving extra chicks. Does Cackle do this with every order? Is it listed on your invoice when you receive extras and are the breeds noted? Just curious as this is our first time ordering with them. Thanks!

I’ve only ordered guineafowl from them and I ordered 15 total (5 of three different breeds) and they gave me 1 extra per breed for a total of 18 keets.

I think they give you extras in case one dies and they don’t have to send replacements.

Were the extras listed on the shipping invoice? We’ve only ordered the 3 female special. It’s 3 different breeds but its their minimum order package so I wasn’t sure if extras came with that package or not.

We are just starting out so we ordered 3 hens (hopefully)
We will have a Light Brahma that I’m soo excited about, a Dominque and a Golden Laced Wyandotte.

I picked up chicks at Cackle in person last year and they had included an extra. I had pre-ordered 4, they gave me 5, the extra was the same breed as the other 4.

Those are wonderful breeds to begin with. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
