Cackle Hatchery Extra Chicks

No, the extras are not on the invoice.

So let’s say you ordered 5 and they give you 6 and one arrived dead, they will not send a replacement. But let’s say you ordered 5 and they send you 6 and two arrive dead, then you’re only entitled to receive one chick as a replacement.

Hope that makes sense. And yes, do post pictures! I love baby chicks! But love full grown hens that give me eggs more!

Ah, so this is your first go! Congratulations. :celebrate

Those are wonderful breeds to begin with. :) I'm sure you won't be disappointed. :love

Please be sure to post pictures when they arrive! :pop We're all dying to squeal over new, fluffy peeps. ;)

Yes it’s our first go around. I’ve been so excited to get started after following along and seeing everyone beautiful flocks on here. I will definitely post pics once they get here!

Thank you! I didn’t see any extras listed on the invoice so I was just curious if it’s something they do with each order.

If you haven't done it yet, go to your post office in person, let them know that you have chicks arriving, and leave phone numbers, and to be called immediately whatever time they arrive. Then, be ready to leap up and run to get them! Have the brooder all set up, heat source on, water not ice cold, and enjoy!

Thats a great tip. Thanks. The PO is 5 mins from my house so once they call I can get to the babies pretty quickly.
