When they come into the stores they are in a very large cardboard box that has a special hole in the middle for a "chick waterer" that supplies water to the four different areas in the box. It really is quite the production.
When you walk into the room were they are keeping the peeps (it is heated to about 80 degrees) the noise is darn near deafening from all the chicks chipping away !!
I mean there are tables and tables and tables of these boxes. We LOVE chick days at our feed stores.
This year I can order a few Guineas from one of them cuase they know me. Special order for a special guy.
