Cackle Hatchery

We are considering going with Cackle this year. Any feedback? We will probably order Salmon Faverolles, Australorpes, Dominiques, Buff Orpingtons, and Americanas.

I ordered their Dominiques. Some were large and some were tiny. They are laying okay.

I've gotten several birds from Cackle and I like them very well. Although I live in the same town as they are in and I do not have to have them shipped. Last year there were several people on here that had good luck with Cackle.

I live about 1.5 hours north of their hatchery. Dominques I got from them have proven pretty tough but not POL yet. They and red jungle fowl I got are more variable in size than some of my show lines and doms appear to be topping out at a smaller average size, which is good for me. Some doms too big.

My birds are from Cackle and I love them. My EE is great and I highly reccomend them.

I have White Rocks, Easter Eggers and Silver Lakenvelder from Cackle. Hatched 3-12-2010 arrived 3-15-2010, no DOA's and lost one at about 1 week of age in the White Rocks. They even threw in an extra Easter Egger pullet and an extra White Rock pullet. Very happy with Cackle will order from them again. Don't beleive you csan go wrong ordering from Cackle.

i ordered from cackle in 2009 split order with my brother got 15 cinnamon queens 10 white wyandottes and 5 golden laced wyandottes got 2 extra chicks all arrived healthy on 4-3-09 . only lost 1 white wyandotte the first week due to sezure. i will by again soon. nice polite people on the phone cant beat the price on shipping either.

I highly recommend them if you want QUALITY birds that conform to the Standard. MOST hatchery birds don't.

im putting my order in soon for 15 white leghorn and 10 black sex link pullets . want to order this week. just debating on the weather never had any shipped in febuary.

I ordered Salmon Faverolles a few years ago. The hen in my avatar is from Cackle. I thought they were all beautiful! The colors varied from darker to the lighter more correct color. I personally thought the darker colors were very pretty.
