The kids and I are debating what it could be. Beats looking at the tabloids while we're waiting in line!

My father raised NZs and I remember them having red eyes...so I dont think it is.
I was just commenting to DH that that commercial is ancient!
Its great to see long running classics!

Obviously, there have been many, many rabbits used in the Cadbury ads. The furthest back I can remember, they were NZ whites. When they introduced the eggs with caramel and chocolate centers, the rabbits in the TV ad were Mini Rex. Look closely - the rabbit in the displays in the stores has a rex coat! The rabbit in the "bunny tryouts" ad looks too small for a NZ to me - I suspect it is a Florida White, but I'm not sure about that one.

The coat is a little suspect. Do you suppose they photo-shopped in different features to get the look they wanted?

I love the bunny that says "bokbokbok" in the old commercial! I never dreamed -- all those years ago, watching that commercial as a kid -- that I'd someday have chickens and bunnies. Life's funny like that.*

*My profound thought for the day.

Its a newzealand. That add was made years ago in the eighties. the bunny used to have red eyes. The add has faded over the years.
