Any body seen the March/April edition of "Hobby Farm Home" magazine? They announced a Cake Contest. One of the categories is Best Animal-Friendly Cake. Has to have healthy, human-grade ingredients for serving to your farm friends - furry, feathered or otherwise. The winner will be chosen based on flavor, creativity and practicality. I am wondering though...who's opinion of flavor? a human judge or the animal it was designed for? I am thinking of doing an Apple-Cherry Oatmeal Cake with Yogurt Icing for my chickens (Cherry pit sprinkles optional). Sound good?
