Do I have to provide calcium for my egg laying ducks? I have 7 females that are due to start laying and I was wondering if you have to provide calcium like with a chicken or if they are free range will they get enough on their own? Thanks

You will probably get more eggs with less trouble if you supply calcium. You have NO way of knowing what they are getting free range. If they can't get it from diet they steal from their own bones in order to make shells.

can I just use what is available on the market for chickens? I have never seen anything for ducks so I am assuming yes. Do you just offer it in a container or mix it with their food to make sure they are getting it? Thanks

I keep free choice oyster shell available for my mixed flock. I've seen the ducks and chickens eating it.
Of course the ones who need it least are the ones who eat the most.
