@RustyBucketFarm So, you set 39 and had 5 infertile, those do not count against your fertile hatch rate but the early quitter does. 39-5=34. 23 hatched, so 23/34= 67.6%, this is your fertile hatch rate. If you want to take into account your total hatch rate, which gives you an overall idea of flock hatchabilty and handling, incubating, etc. you take 23/39= 59% total hatch rate. Hope that helps!
