Calibrating Incubator

I am trying to get my thermostat set for the correct temperature and I know 99.5 is the desired resting temperature.

Now, my thermostat has a small range when in use, about three degrees. Where should I place that range? 97-100? 98-101? 99-102?

Is that all the choice you have? I'd vote for 98-101. The best way to figure it out is run a batch with the "middle" setting and adjust according to results.

Actually I set mine at 99.6-7 but I know not everyone is fortunate to have such an accurate incubator.
